Why You Can’t Imagine God’s Love For You

January has been a good month for me, at least. I don’t know about you… but hey! read this one out.

How about some little play of our imagination.

Do you know the shape of triangle? Do you know how to write a circle? Do you know the face that suddenly popped out in your image when I typed parents, friends, spouse, or enemies? There’s an image that suddenly came out of nowhere when somebody mention a word or words.  We usually don’t get the same pictures as everybody else. We have our own experiences, start from our imagination.

The only limitation we have is our imagination. We usually perceive and conclude something than we can imagine, or something that we have heard in the past life. Today is the new day, and tomorrow is still a mystery for all of us, whether we could imagine it or not. They are still shrouded from the mist of today.

It’s the same when we are talking about God. I always think God is within my imagination. When I doing some certain things, then God will love me. If Im doing something bad, then God will hate me. My perspective about God is only as far as I could know.

How about you?

Do you and me serve the same God?

Do you and me worship and praise the same God?

Do you recognize how badly Jesus wants you, not what you are doing right now?

Our performance and obedience doesn’t add something to His love, but our disobidience makes His love greater than we had ever imagined.

“We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.”   – Timothy Keller

Because His love is unconditional. His love is the sign of His grace to us.

It is all about you.

He wants you.

Rejoice in it.

Stop Imagine how big is His love, because you can’t Imagine it. It is too good, too fierce, and unmeasurable.

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:39 (KJV)
